I&rs***;ve been part of a volunteer organization for 4 years now. The organization is called &ld***;Chuchungan Volunteer Inc.&rd***;. The name &ld***;chuchungan&rd***; was der***d from a dialect which means &ld***;a w***en chair&rd***;. The main beneficiary of this organization are elementary students in the far-flung areas and we provide them clothes, school supplies, laundry powd***, mouth care products, and snacks. We visit their areas, we sit for a while, m***le with them, and spend qual*** time with them.– thus the name &ld***;chuchungan&rd***;.

As we play games with them, we are able to have fun and build their social skills and their competit***ness. As I spend time with these kids, just by see*** their genuine smile as they say &ls***;thank you&rs***; melts my heart. It reminds me of my childh*** ***s. After school, I was excited to go home so I could play with my neighbors, I could watch my favorite TV show, and after do*** my homework, I was excited to go to bed as I couldn&rs***;t wait to see my classmates the follow*** ***.

H****** oth*** doesn&rs***;t mean that we also have to rece*** someth*** in return, well, in a materialistic point at least. We h*** oth*** because we want to. By h****** oth***, we rece*** this deep sense of happiness and a wider ***spect*** in life, which we t*** for granted at times. It doesn&rs***;t mean that we rece*** material pos***sions, we DO rece*** someth***, and this someth*** is much more precious than any other stuff in this world.
